Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) proudly introduces school-aged young people to the many advantages and opportunities offered through team-based shooting sports, encouraging, facilitating and fostering their participation. Our positive and supportive Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP) assist young people in their continued growth and development as they grow into productive and contributing members of society.
We help communities and organizations raise funds to support their high school, college and other youth shooting teams and activities. We also manage donor directed endowed funds for these communities and organizations.
USA Youth Education in Shooting Sports (USAYESS), the nations premier youth clay target program, will help introduce youth to competitive shooting sports in fun filled events with hands-on activities.
The Amateur Trapshooting Association serves as the governing body for the sport of American style trapshooting. The ATA's mission is to promote and govern the sport throughout the world.
The National Skeet Shooting Association is the world's largest organization dedicated to the sport of Skeet Shooting. As the official governing and sanctioning body for Skeet competition in the U.S., the NSSA is dedicated to developing the sport at all levels, from recreational to World Championship. Skeet is a safe, wholesome sport that can provide fun and fellowship for a lifetime.
NSCA is the largest Sporting Clays association in the world and the governing body for the sport in the U.S. We keep records of our members’ scores in competition, register shoots for the clubs and associations, hold the National Championship each year, and provide myriad awards for outstanding achievements.
USA Shooting, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, was chartered by the United States Olympic Committee as the National Governing Body for the sport of shooting in April 1995. The organization implements and manages development programs and sanctions events at the local, state, regional, and national levels.
The Hall of Fame (HOF) was founded in 1968 and held its first induction banquet in 1969. Its purpose is to preserve the history and artifacts of trapshooting and to honor outstanding persons in the sport. This year (2013) will mark our 45th induction ceremony. After which, we will have 160 enshrinees (28 women and 132 men).
